Composite Fillings
Composite fillings are resin bondings that are considered a conservative procedure in restoring teeth. Composite fillings are virtually unnoticeable and form to enamel in order to add strength where decay once existed, and result in healthier, natural-looking teeth.
Cosmetic Bondings
Bonding is a common solution for fixing/repairing chipped and cracked teeth, reducing gaps or spaces between teeth, or hiding discoloration on a tooth’s surface. Bonding is when composite material is adhered to an existing tooth. Unlike crowns or veneers, composite bonding removes little, if any, of the original tooth.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
This procedure is recommended for patients who have lost their vertical dimension of occlusion or function due to various reasons such as grinding, neglect, or severe wear. It involves complete restoration of the entire mouth via crowns, bridges, implants, or removable prosthetics. Dr. Lee can show you a step-by-step guide to achieving your dream mouth. It is a highly precise and systematic procedure that requires commitment from both parties but the end result can be astonishing.
Crowns & Bridges
A crown is a permanent “cap” that fits over an original tooth that is decayed, damaged or cracked. This covering fits at the gum line in order to restore the tooth’s structure and function. Treatment for a crown involves: numbing of the tooth to remove decay, re-sculpting the tooth, an impression of the prepared tooth, and fitting the permanent crown which is done during the second visit typically 2 weeks later. There are many different types of crowns that you can choose from depending on location, function, and esthetic factors of the tooth, so be sure to ask us about the type of crown that is best suited for you.
A bridge is a permanent restoration that fills a space where a tooth or teeth previously occupied and consists of a filler tooth that is attached to two or more adjacent prepared teeth. Depending on the location and the span of the missing area, a design of the bridge and a number of teeth that are involved are determined. The preparation and delivery visits are very similar to that of a single crown preparation.
